10 DAYS AGO // PŘED DESETI DNY

Our dear friends from the villages in the Pshdar district (near the border with Iran) got shelled again. The shelling lasted for almost two days in the vicinities of several villages, to which people started to return with their families.
We met some of them a couple of days after the shelling and never did they seem so hopeless before. Shelling was supposed to be targeted at PJAK/PKK bases in the Qandil mountains, none of which even closely got hit. Instead, all of the rockets fell in the surroundings of the inhabited villages that have nothing to do with the guerillas.
Thanks to God nobody was injured.

I add up two videos, although not from this particular shelling, they are from two other but very similar ones, both also from the Qandil mountains. One was given to us by our friends and was filmed in the late summer or early autumn of 2009. The other appeared somewhere oficially and was made in December of 2008.
